The name "Team OZ" comes from the fact that John & Yvonne grew up, met, went to college, got married and had two children in Kansas. We were delighted when we were able to move to Colorado in 1990 so "we arn't in Kansas anymore!". We must be in OZ!  When most people think of OZ, they think of "The Wizard of OZ", a story about a girl in Kansas learning important lessons of life with the help of new found friends and The Wizard of OZ. One of the things she learns is that she can rely on her friends and local experts to help her find her way home.

Secondly, in a more contemporary light, most of us have used a "Wizard" when we install or use a computer program. The term has become synonymous with "helping".
